Day 01 » Trivandrum - Kovalam
You are given a traditional welcome as you arrive at Trivandrum Airport. We
take you to Kovalam. Arrival, check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 » Kovalam
Get up, wash and breakfast is served. We leave for backwater cruise around
Kovalam which offers endless miles of snaking waterways which are flanked on
either side by emerald palms. These water bodies present you an experience
of a lifetime as they are tranquil and alluring. We visit some exotic
beaches in evening to capture the mesmerizing sunset and cool breeze from
the sea. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 » Kovalam - Varkala
After
having our breakfast we drive to Varkala. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
We take a cruise in a houseboat through the backwaters. In evening, we visit
some of the beaches which are unspoilt and fringed by swaying coconut trees.
There are cliffs and unique red rock formations near Varkala beaches, making
them different from others. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 » Varkala - Allepey
Relish the yummy breakfast before we drive to Alleppey. Arrival, check-in
and overnight stay at the backwater resort.
Day 05 » Allepey - Kayamkulam
Wake up, wash and take your toothsome breakfast as we board the house boat
to travel through the enchanting backwaters of Alleppey. The glimpses of
lifestyle of rural Keralites are a major attraction among the tourists. We
move to Kayamkulam en route visiting small village anchor at Kayamkulam
Lake. Overnight on house boat.
Day 06 » Kayamkulam - Changnacherry
We sail through the backwaters to Changnacherry en route visiting the small
village. Anchor at Channa. Overnight on houseboat.
Day 07 » Changnacherry - Kumarakom
We take the breakfast and continue sailing through the backwater until we
reach Kumarakom. Located on the banks of Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is nestled
amidst backwaters of Kerala. Often described as the Heart of the Houseboat
Cruise. Arrival, check-in and overnight stay at the backwater resort.
Day 08 » In Kumrakom
Wake up, wash and relish the breakfast. This day belongs to full day bird
watching trip in Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Our ornithologist accompanies you
in this 'Paradise for Bird Watchers'. Numerous endangered migratory birds
including Siberian Stock are found here. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 09 » Kumarakom - Periyar
We take the breakfast and drive to Periyar then onwards which is famous for
elephants and tigers. We arrive and check in at the hotel. Refresh and relax
for a while before we leave for a boat ride at Periyar Lake. Overnight at
the hotel.
Day 10 » Periyar - Munnar
Relish your breakfast before we leave for the drive to Munnar, an exotic
hill resort famous for its lush tea estates. These tea gardens are the last
bastion of the Raj. Some of them still preserve the customs like 'Chhota
Hazari'. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 » In Munnar
We take the lip-smacking breakfast before we leave for the boat ride in
Mattupetty Lake. We also go fishing for trout in Elephant Lake. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 12 » Munnar
Get up, wash and enjoy the breakfast. We enjoy another day at this
excellent hill station abundant with virgin natural beauty. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 13 » Munnar - Cochin
Relish the breakfast and we then head to Cochin. Arrival and transfer
directly to Cochin Airport. Fly back home.
