Day 1 » Mumbai :
Welcome to the commercial and celluloid capital of India. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 » Mumbai :
Morning excursion to Elephanta Caves located an hour's boat ride from
Mumbai. Afternoon half-day sightseeing tour of Mumbai to places like Gateway
of India, Marine Drive, Hanging Gardens and Prince of Wales Museum.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 » Mumbai - Aurangabad :
Transfer to airport for Aurangabad flight. Aurangabad is a historical city
located in the west central part of Maharashtra state, on the banks of Kham
River. On arrival transfer to hotel and overnight stay.

4 » Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves :
Daylong excursion of Ajanta Caves, dating back to the 2nd century BC. The
caves numbering 30 are adorned with Buddhist sculpture and fresco paintings
in epic form the religious and secular life through eight centuries.

Day 5 » Aurangabad - Ellora Caves :
Morning excursion of Ellora Caves (29 Kms) dating from the 4th to 9th
century AD. Ellora caves encompasses 34 rock cut shrines representing
Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art. The most remarkable among them is the Kailash
Temple, meant to be replica of the celestial abode, Mount Kailash. Evening
transfer to railway station for Hyderabad, the City of Pearls and capital of
Andhra Pradesh.
Day 6 » Hyderabad :
Morning arrive Hyderabad and transfer to hotel. City tour visiting
Charminar, Salarjung Museum and shopping in Hyderabad's famous bazaars.
Overnight stay in Hyderabad.
Day 7 » Golconda :
Explore the Golconda Fort dating back to the 13th century. Overnight stay
in Hyderabad.

Morning transfer to airport for Chennai flight. On arrival transfer to
hotel. Half-day tour of Chennai including Dakshin Chitra (heritage centre).
Overnight in Chennai.
Day 9 » Mahabalipuram - Kancheepuram :
Daylong tour of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Along with Mahabalipuram and
Kanchipuram, Chennai forms the famous Golden Triangle of the Coromandel

Morning transfer to railway station for Mysore in Karnataka state. Meeting
and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mysore.

Halebid :
Full day excursion of Belur and Halebid (155 km). Belur is famous for the
Chennakesava Temple built in the Hoysala style. Started in 1116 AD it took
103 years to complete this temple. Temple at Halebid is dedicated to the
Lord Shiva and is equally endowed with carved friezes. Overnight in Mysore.

Morning tour of Mysore, the cultural magnet for the best in South Indian
art and music. Visit Maharaja Palace, Art Gallery and Chamundi Hill to see
Chamundeshwari Temple and Nandi Bull. Overnight in Mysore.
Day 13 » Hassan :
Drive to Hassan via Sravanbelgola, to see the thousand year old monolithic
statue. Overnight in Hassan.
Day 14 » Bangalore :
Drive to Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. En-route visit
Srirangapatna - 15 kilometers from Mysore is famous for the Tippus
Dariyadaulat, Gumbaz and the Nimishambha temples. Overnight at Bangalore.
Day 15 » Bangalore :
In the morning half day tour of Bangalore city. Evening transfer for flight
