How to Reach

From Alappuzha nearest airport is Kochi International Airport, about 85 km away. Alappuzha railway station which is about 5 km from the beach is connected to all major cities pf the country with express trains. State Water Transport Department operates boat services which connect Alappuzha with other places like Kottaym (2.5 hrs), Kovalam (1.5hrs), Nedumudy (1.5 hrs) etc.
